There are a lot of shopping malls in Bangkok for any lifestyle and budget. We were very pleased to have one of the biggest malls of this city just a few minutes away from our hotel, so we could eat there sometimes and buy some daily stuff. We liked Terminal 21 from the first glance. It’s a 6 floor shopping center. Each level is designed after one of world-famous cities, for example Tokyo, Paris, London and San Francisco. The decor on each floor is thus totally different from the next, making it a really enjoyable and original experience for visitors as they ‘travel the world’ via escalators and lifts in the shopping mall.
In Terminal 21 you can find lots of clothes, accessories, things of decor, cosmetics, medicine etc. On the ground floor there is the Gourmet Market, where you can eat and buy different products. On the 4th and 5th floor, with a “San Francisco” theme, there are bunch of restaurants and also a big food court (Pier 21). At the food court you can eat local grub for a really cheap price (0.50 – 1.50 euro). Lovers of movies will find an eight-screen cineplex (two of them are 3D screens) on the 6th floor of the mall.
